Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) as the name suggest is a co-ed residential school. The concept of hostel/boarding is to afford them an opportunity to test their ability to live together with their friends, to interact amicably and to grow together to be a potential leader of the present and future generation.

The main objective of Eklavya Model Residential Schools as set up by Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India are as follows:

• In the context of trend of establishing quality residential schools for the promotion of education and also to ensure all round development of tribal students in all areas, habitations and diversified environment throughout the country, the Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS), Eklavya Model Day Boarding Schools (EMDBS) and Centre of Excellence for Sports are being established for ST and PVTG students.
• The schools are aimed to provide quality upper primary, secondary and senior secondary level education to ST and PVTG students in tribal dominated areas, along with extra-curricular activities, to enable them to access the best opportunities in education and to bring them at par with the general population.

To achieved this common objective, all dedicated staffs in EMRS are making all efforts to inculcate in students the right values; motivate them in the correct direction; make them proficient in various fields; and provide them an open platform from where they can launch themselves to fly high in the infinite universe.

Our commitment has been to ensure the overall holistic development of our students in addition to our efforts to impart the best education. We also provide equal importance to extracurricular activities like sports, physical education, self development etc.
